Join the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility for a webinar designed for educators and others interested in accessibility.
In Ontario, there are millions of students attending schools at the elementary and secondary levels. It is important that every student, regardless of ability, has equal chance for success. This webinar will highlight some initiatives, through the Ministry’s EnAbling Change Program, which are helping students with disabilities succeed. Our guest speakers for this webinar include: Liviya Mendelsohn, Director of Accessibility and inclusion at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre in Toronto and Artistic Director of the ReelAbilities Film Festival and Rachel Lissner, ReelEducation Coordinator, to discuss the ReelEducation program. This program provides free resources for educators and administrators to teach students about inclusion, universal design, as well as attitudinal barriers. ReelEducation: Clewes, Project Coordinator for the Accessful Project. The Accessful pilot project is an exciting initiative that has improved summer employment opportunities for students in Gr 10 to 12 with disabilities in Peel Region. Accessful: If you require an alternative format of the presentation or have any accessibility requests related to accessing the content of the webinar, please contact the webinar team at
