Aloha Hana providers! Please join us for a fun and engaging training on Thursday, August 29th from 10:30am-1:00pm at the Hana Youth Center.
This will be an opportunity to network with others professionals and participate in some hands-on training. Lunch will be provided.
This meeting's training topic will be Group Experiential Games.
Participants will learn how to facilitate group icebreakers, team-building, and problem-solving games. These games are fun and easy to facilitate, and are applicable for both youth and adults. Participants will learn how to utilize the games to bring them back into their respective work places to facilitate relationship-building and teamwork with the youth and adults with whom they work.
Participants will be given an experiential group games workbook with step-by-step instructions of how to replicate the games with others in their respective workplace settings.
Target Audience: Substance misue prevention and treatment providers, educators, school counselors, and other health-related professionals who work with youth, adults, and/or families. Please RSVP via the registration link to ensure your lunch is provided.
Continuing Education: Participants receive 2.5 hours of continuing education credits (CEs) for Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and Certified Prevention Specialist certifications. This course is approved for CEs by the Dept. of Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD).
